In 1958,Luoyang Bearing Research was set up. Its administrate leader in turn.Luoyang Bearing Research Institute is a state first-class institute and an industry center for bearing research,advisory and service. In 1999,followed the management reform lf technical organizations,Luoyang Bearing Research Institute became a member of China Machine-Equipment (Group) Co., changing from an institute to a technical enterprise.

　　After 40 years development,the institute is a large scientific research institute in Chinese bearing industry with nearly 1000 staffs staffs and nearly 100 million RMB yuan assets. The institute engages in basic theory, product design, manufacturing & equipment,precision instrument,material engineering,accuracy measuring,experiment technology, information & standardization, etc. Small batch process or large scale production of high precision bearings, special bearings,special bearing testing instrument, electric spindles for bearing grinding and numerical control machine tools can also be undertaken here. The National Supervisory and Inspecting Center of Bearing Quality, the National Rolling Bearing Quality, the National Rolling Bearing Standardization Committee, China Bearing Industry Association Technical Committee are all managed by the institute. The High-speed Precision Bearing Engineering Center of Machinery Industry and the Development Center of MilitaryBearing are all in the institute.
